EMX Industries UNIVERSAL UL325 RETROREFLECTIVE PHOTOEYE
The EMX IRB-RET2 is a universal UL325 retroreflective photoeye designed to add non-contact safety detection to gate and garage-door systems. Building on the original IRB-RET, it delivers advanced features in a smaller, more convenient package, with a ball and socket bracket that offers versatile positioning for a seamless and secure setup.
Classified as a Type B1 non-contact sensor, the IRB-RET2 supports six UL325 monitoring methods for easy integration with a wide variety of systems. An easy alignment LED helps speed up setup and reduce frustration, while detachable screw terminals make wiring simpler. A selectable stealth mode turns off the LEDs after 30 seconds of inactivity to help protect equipment from unwanted attention or vandalism.
Built for dependable outdoor performance, it features an integrated sensor hood to shield the device from the elements and a NEMA 4X environmental rating. A 1/2 inch NPT conduit connection provides a reliable, sturdy link for safe installation, making it well suited for contractors and property owners seeking adaptable, code-compliant photoeye protection.
