Knew from garage door opener install man that I would need this device to interface with the Homelinks system. Was cheaper to buy online and intall myself. It did take clearing the old Homelinks codes in my vehicle before it worked, but now works very well. A little bummed that they dropped the price $5 after I had already bought it.

Opener works great, no louder than any other opener. Installation fairly easy, all the parts needed are in the box. Instructions are written in English.

After having a LiftMaster door opener installed in my new garage/shop, I soon realized that the HomeLink system in our '02 TrailBlazer would not synchronize with the new opener. I researched the pairing issue relating to my new door opener and discovered that I needed to install a bridge (repeater) to update to the current wireless control signal encoding.
