It was the part I needed, and it worked. The costs seemed a little high. I am overall happy with the result.

everything arrived in good order. A phone call took care of any issues I thought I had. Key phrase here is "I thought I had". You see under the new shipping and supply issues they split the part shipments up to get them to me as fast as possible. So when only a couple parts arrived earlier than expected I called them. They where wonderful on the phone and let me know they had to split up the parts to get them out as fast as possible to me. They kept me in the loop by calling me and emails, and at least two weeks (again supply and shipping issues) before I thought I would be fixing my garage door it was all back up and running. Will be using Preferred Doors for all our future needs.

This company is the best. Great service and fast delivery. Had a problem figuring out which part I needed, and a quick phone call and the gentleman steered me in the right direction with the correct part. Now the old Genie screw drive operates like the day it was new. P.S. Being without a garage door opener is a royal pain.........

This kit made installing the springs easy. I bought a few parts at the hardware store because the person who attached the previous springs had rigged up something a bit non-traditional. I wanted the install to be easy, so I used what was already in place and replaced what was necessary (springs and pulleys).. I might buy another set just to have as back-up...
