Safety Edge Controls

I I went to a local hardware store for this wheel. Each one was noisy and bumpie when turned. These wheels are smooth rolling and quiet.

The complete gear kit was exactly as described and included everything needed to overhaul a worn out assembly. The link to the YouTube video was indispensable. The only small glitch was that the video didn't emphasize was that the plastic sprocket dust cover mounting holes require that the assembly be installed so they line up front to back. I put my opener all back together only to find that the dust cover holes were not where they needed to be. Had to fabricate my own little dust cover from a plastic cup and double stick tape it to the unit. Not pretty but it does the job. Small complaint.

Part was shipped the same day as ordered. Arrived earlier than expected and was the exact match. I will order from the company again.

After calling my regular garage door co, and finding out they wanted to charge $125 for install of new part, I decided to search online. Found the exact part with ease for only $8 at Preferred Doors. Part arrived quickly and I installed it my self. Extremely satisfied!
