Miller Edge TruGuard Monitored Reflective Photoeye
The Miller Edge TruGuard Monitored Reflective Photo Eye is a reflective photo optic system that combines an emitter and receiver in a single housing. A separate reflector, equipped with a hood for added sunlight immunity, returns the photo optic beam to the emitter/receiver unit. Together they form an invisible protective barrier that guards an entrapment or hazard zone.
When an obstruction interrupts the beam, a signal is sent to the motor controls to stop and/or reverse motion, helping protect people and property in automated gate applications. A visible light beam eases alignment to the reflector, making the system easy to install, while the reflector design keeps installation simple and maintenance minimal.
A polarized beam and corner cube reflector reject false reflections and increase sunlight immunity, and the durable mounting bracket/hood and reflector hood add protection against debris while serving as weather and sun shields. The IP67 housing protects against moisture and dust for reliable outdoor performance.
