The Linear MULTI-CODE Model 3022 is a wired-input radio transmitter designed for safety-related gate applications, including use with safety edges on automated gate systems. It is engineered for reliability and is intended to provide remote signaling wherever such signaling is desirable, as specified by FCC regulations.

The transmitter connects to a device through an internal terminal block, accepting 18 to 24 gauge wire routed through a strain relief fitting to help maintain the water-tightness of the case. Its code switch offers 1,024 possible code combinations, allowing it to be matched to an existing receiver or paired with a separate receiver. In a safety circuit, the 3022 works with the gate edge, receiver, and gate operator to help detect an obstruction and reverse or stop the gate.

Suitable for gate edge safety systems and other remote signaling applications, the 3022 is built for permanent mounting via four case holes and is intended for installation by dealers and qualified installers familiar with the wiring and limitations of the safety circuit.
