The Max SUPER ARM 1300 from Maximum Controls is a heavy-duty residential linear gate operator engineered for swing gates. Built around a 24 Volt DC motor with adaptive DSP motor control, it delivers smooth, intelligent motion with ramp-up and ramp-down for quiet, reliable operation. A direct gear drive—with no internal chains, belts, or pulleys—and a stainless steel output shaft provide durable, low-maintenance performance.

Designed for real-world conditions, the SUPER ARM 1300 supports two installation options (push open and pull open) and offers asymmetric speed control so installers can visually sync the closing cycle of two gate leaves. Its patented brake system retracts with extreme force, and when force exceeds 2 tons—such as a vehicle striking a moving gate—the overload clutch releases on impact and automatically resets to help avoid costly repairs. The unit operates continuously across an extreme temperature range without overheating and without a heater.

The operator integrates with the optional Max Cloud App, allowing users to open, close, and monitor gates from anywhere, manage users and guest passes with time restrictions, set auto open/close timers, and retrieve event logs and operator diagnostics. UL 325/991 compliant and CSA approved, it includes built-in entrapment protection, alarms, and battery backup for added safety and security.
