Linear Receiver-1 channel 300MHz

The Linear Receiver-1 channel 300MHz (SKU MCS109020) is a garage door radio control receiver designed to work as part of a transmitter/receiver combination for remotely controlling a garage door. Built around Linear's MULTI-CODE scheme, it supports the selection of as many as 1024 code combinations of the owner's personal choice, with the digital code determined by the position of 10 small switches numbered 1 through 10 located in both the receiver and matching transmitter.

The receiver is designed to mount directly to the operator by inserting its two-way lugs under the terminal screw heads, or it can be remotely installed near the operator head on a joist or ceiling using the mounting tab when the operator terminal strip is not accessible or power is not obtainable from the operator. An 11 inch white wire antenna should be placed in a vertical position as far from any metal as possible. The RF frequency is tuned and tested at the factory and requires no field adjustment.

It is well suited for new installations as well as adding or replacing a receiver in an existing system, by specifying the Model Number and the RF frequency designated on the identification label. Code matching to the companion transmitter is accomplished by setting both switches to the same code.
