Liftmaster Push To Open Bracket Kit

The Push To Open Bracket Kit (SKU 50-19503) is a specialized mounting bracket assembly from LiftMaster designed to configure a gate operator for push-to-open installation. The kit includes post brackets, a dedicated push-to-open bracket, a gate bracket, and the necessary hardware to establish the correct pivot point and mounting geometry.

During installation, the post bracket assembly is built by placing the push-to-open bracket between two post brackets and securing it with a 3/8" hex bolt, washers, and nut. With the gate held in the open position (90° from closed), the assembly is clamped to the post, adjusted to the required dimensions, and locked at the pivot point with a 5/16" hex bolt. The operator then mounts to the bracket assembly using pins and hairpin clips, while the gate bracket attaches to the actuator side of the operator.

This kit is intended for contractors and property owners installing or converting a gate operator for push-to-open operation, ensuring the operator can be leveled and securely fastened to the gate post and cross member.
