The Seco-Larm SM-226LQ is an overhead door-mount magnetic contact designed to monitor the open or closed status of commercial overhead and garage-style doors. As a closed-loop contact, it integrates into security and access-control systems to signal when a door is opened, providing reliable position monitoring for protected openings.
Built for the demands of overhead door applications, the magnet is mounted on an "L" bracket while the contact is housed in a durable die-cast aluminum enclosure. It comes pre-wired with 24" leads protected by a flexible stainless-steel cable, helping safeguard the wiring against wear in rugged door environments.
