Cellgate Outdoor Gateway Verizon

The Outdoor Gateway Verizon is the central communications hub for CellGate's OmniPoint wireless multi-point access control system. Using a hub-and-spoke methodology, this Gateway connects to CellGate's TrueCloud portal via Ethernet or Verizon LTE, and communicates with up to 100 entry points (EPMs or OmniPoint Sensors) over LoRa technology. No long-distance data wires are required—the only wiring needed is for power and local connections to the card reader and lock.

Designed for cost-effective, reliable installation, a single Gateway can control up to 100 entrances with up to a 1/2 mile range using a high-gain LoRa antenna, and line of sight is not required. This makes it ideal for properties that want to avoid multiple control panels, extensive data wiring, and internet in every building, reducing costly labor and freeing field staff for higher-margin work.

Through the TrueCloud portal, property managers can handle credential management, user tier administration, activity log tracking, time and date restrictions, priority-level alerts, and more—with companion apps available for installers and property managers on the App Store and Google Play.
