18 AWG green loop wire with XLPE insulation, 500 ft., for vehicle detection loops in gate and access-control systems.
This 18 AWG loop wire features XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation and comes in a 500 ft. length with a green outer color for easy identification. Loop wire is used to create inductive loop detectors that are installed in or around driveways and entry points.
Commonly used in gate, access-control, and garage-door applications, this wire is run within a saw-cut loop or routed to a detector to sense the presence of vehicles. It is well suited for new installations or for replacing existing loop wiring on site.
