Diablo Controls Loop and Mini-Loop Detector 8-35Volts DC
The Diablo Controls DSP-19 is a low power loop and free-exit probe vehicle detector designed specifically to install into a LiftMaster® model CSW24 operator or other models that use the same plug-in loop detector. Its very low current draw and low voltage range make it an ideal choice for solar-powered access-control applications.
The DSP-19 can be connected to a standard inductive loop or to one of Diablo Controls' free-exit probes—a small "pipe shaped" device approximately 4-1/2" by 1" that is buried in the ground to detect vehicles. It can be used as either a safety loop or free-exit loop detector and offers the flexibility of fail-safe or fail-secure operation. Note that in free-exit probe mode there is no presence detection, so the detector cannot be used as a safety detector. Contact Diablo Controls for more information on the free-exit probe.
Configuration is handled through a 6-position DIP switch and a 10-position sensitivity selection, providing flexibility for installations that need a little more than a standard detector. Selectable features include loop frequency, free-exit probe mode, extended presence, sensitivity boost for detecting high-bed vehicles and truck/trailer combinations, and fail-safe/fail-secure operation. Green power and red detect LEDs provide status and fault indication.
