The Liftmaster JHDC7S4BMC is a next-generation standard duty Jackshaft (hoisted) DC commercial door operator from the MAXUM Series. Designed for sectional or rolling doors, this hoist operator supports doors weighing up to 700 lbs and is rated for standard duty service of up to 90 cycles per day. It runs on 480Vac 3PH power and delivers equivalent 1/2 HP performance.

As a hoisted Jackshaft model, this unit includes a hand chain (hoist) for manual door movement and comes standard with 25 feet of hoist chain — enough for 16 feet of total height. For taller doors exceeding 16 feet of total height, additional 25-foot chain packs can be ordered. The operator is battery backup capable and ships with a monitored entrapment protection device (CPS-U) that is packed in and cannot be swapped out.

This operator is well suited to commercial facilities where overhead space is at a premium, supporting doors up to 40 ft. in height with up to a 10 ft. high lift. Note that a sprocket is required for installation and is ordered separately to safely achieve recommended door speed.
