AWID Hang Tag for LR2000/LR3000 UHF Readers

The AWID Hang Tag (HT-UHF-0-0) is a UHF credential designed for use with AWID's LR-2000 long-range readers. It is a vehicle-mounted or hand-held tag intended for long-range identification at gates, garage doors, and other access-control entrances.

The hangtag hooks over the stem that fastens the inside rearview mirror to the windshield, with either side of the tag facing the windshield. It can be read while left hanging from the mirror stem, or by holding the tag between the fingers at the hook-end with the tag facing the reader. For best results, the credential should face the reader with clear line-of-sight (through the windshield is acceptable) and be approximately parallel to the reader at its "sweet spot" reading location.

This credential is well suited to vehicle access applications where the reader is mounted over the center of the lane for a hanging tag, or at the left side of the lane for a hand-held tag.
