DoorBird IP I/O Door Controller A1081

The DoorBird I/O Door Controller A1081 provides tamperproof control of up to three doors or gates over a network. Designed for installation in a protected interior area such as a control cabinet in the basement, it connects to a DoorBird IP video door station via the network—eliminating the need for physical wires between the door or gate and the door station. This design removes the risk of shorting and activating the electric door opener if the door station is removed without authorization, making your property safer.

The controller connects to the network via network cable (PoE capability) or WiFi, and all signals between it and the door station are transmitted tamperproof and encrypted according to banking standards. Up to three electric door openers can be wired to independent, configurable NO/NC relay contacts, with relay status shown in the DoorBird App. Beyond a standard isolated safety relay, the A1081 also lets you connect and monitor two external sensors—such as a motion sensor or contact switch—to trigger further actions, including alarm push notifications to a smartphone or tablet.

There is no limit to the number of I/O Door Controllers that can be connected to a DoorBird IP video door station on a network. Residents can conveniently open connected doors and gates from anywhere in the world via the DoorBird App or through event configuration such as RFID or keypad code.
