BD Loops Direct Burial Loop 6' x 12' w/ 60' lead

The BD Loops Preformed Direct Burial Inductance Loop is a complete, fully formed vehicle detection loop featuring a set 6' x 12' loop section paired with a 60' lead-in run. Built with 16 AWG copper wire and rated for direct burial use, it arrives ready to install with no assembly required. An extra layer of protection—a thick, durable outer jacket—protects and tightly binds both the loop and lead-in conductors.

This loop is designed for direct burial applications such as concrete pours, asphalt paving, gravel roads, dirt roads, or installation under pavers. The solid 16 AWG copper loop section is rigid and easy to form, so in a concrete pour it won't fall below the rebar pattern. Because there's no air pocket—unlike loops wrapped through PVC conduit—it helps reduce repeat service calls caused by phantom detections from ground vibration. Note: this product is not designed for saw-cut applications; use a BD Loops Preformed Saw-Cut Loop for cutting into hard surfaces.

Each loop is tested three ways before leaving the factory and is a no-maintenance detection solution. Every loop comes with zip ties for installation and loop function labels to identify the lead-in wires after install. A Flex Yoke Design with a 1/2" coupler accepts PVC conduit to protect the lead-in run.
