EDI Detector-1 Channel-2 Relay-12-24VDC

The EDI BX-4 is a full-featured, single channel, dual output vehicle detector built on Reno A&E's reliable vehicle detection technology. This version (BX-4) operates on 12 VDC, 24 VDC, or 24 VAC input power, making it well suited for gate, access-control, and garage-door installations. All detector functions and settings are easy to configure using a set of eight external DIP switches and a simple-to-use eight-position rotary switch.

The detector provides two independent relay outputs. Output A offers selectable presence hold times—True Presence™ or Limited Presence—while Output B can be configured for Presence, Pulse-on-Entry, Pulse-on-Exit, or Fault indication. With eight levels of sensitivity, a Sensitivity Boost option for high-bed vehicles, four loop frequencies, and automatic self-tuning, the BX-4 adapts to a wide range of loop installations and operating conditions.

Built for demanding environments, the BX-4 features a high temperature rated plastic enclosure, conformal-coated circuit boards, and transformer-isolated loop inputs for dependable operation even with poor-quality or grounded loops. Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure versions are available to match your access-control requirements.
