EDI Det.1 Ch 2-relay 120vac
The EDI BX-3 is a full-featured, single channel, dual output vehicle detector from Reno A&E's BX Series, configured for 120 VAC input power. It incorporates reliable inductive-loop vehicle detection technology and is well suited for gate, access-control, and parking applications where dependable vehicle sensing is required.
All detector functions and settings are easy to configure using a set of eight external DIP switches and a simple eight-position rotary switch. Output A provides Limited Presence or True Presence™ detection, while Output B can be set for Presence (duplicating Output A), Pulse-on-Entry, Pulse-on-Exit, or Fault output. The detector self-tunes and is operational within two seconds of power-up, with full sensitivity and hold time after 30 seconds of operation, and is fully self-compensating for environmental changes and loop drift.
The unit features clear LED indication for power, detect, and loop-fault status, a Sensitivity Boost mode to prevent dropouts during the passage of high-bed vehicles, and a Detect Memory feature that maintains detection during momentary power interruptions of up to two seconds. Fail-Safe and Fail-Secure versions are available.
