The Commercial Brushless 24V DC SLGO (MAX-2200-PRO) from Maximum Controls, LLC is a high-traffic, fail-secure commercial slide gate operator built for demanding access-control applications. It is rated for gates up to 2200 lbs and 60 ft long, moving at 12 inches per second, and is UL 325/991 compliant for Class I, II, III, and IV operation (CSA approved). Safety sensors are required for UL 325 2018 compliance.

At its core is a brushless DC motor (torque equivalent to a 1 1/4 HP AC motor) controlled by adaptive DSP motion control, delivering precise positioning, intelligent ramp-up and ramp-down, and a dynamic magnetic brake system that stops the gate instantly upon contact with an obstruction. The direct gear drive uses a heavy-duty Size 60, 30:1 cast iron gearbox with no internal chains, belts, or pulleys, and the unit runs continuous duty across an operational range of -4F to 165F (-20C to +74C) without needing a heater.

Designed for high-security, high-cycle commercial sites, the 2200 PRO ships with programmable virtual limits as standard, includes a built-in battery backup module (minimum 100 cycles), and offers advanced loop management, tamper alerts, magnetic lock control, anti-tailgate features, and Fire Department compliance for auto-open on power loss. Diagnostics include an LCD display, event log, and OBD/USB download. It includes a cover door and a 25 ft nickel-plated chain with brackets.
