The LiftMaster J501L5-MC is a Logic 5.0 jackshaft door operator built for commercial applications. Rated at 1/2 HP and configured for single-phase 115V/230V dual voltage power, it is recommended for lighter rolling steel doors and grilles as well as high-lift or vertical-lift sectional doors. With a standard-duty cycle of up to 25 cycles per hour and up to 90 cycles per day using a continuous-rated motor, it's a dependable choice for everyday commercial door operation.

This operator moves the door at 8-9 inches per second and uses mechanical limit settings along with the solid-state Logic 5.0 circuit board for reliable control. A floor-level emergency release sash chain provides manual operation, and the operator automatically reconnects when tension is removed from the chain. Programmable features include a timer-to-close, a mid-stop, and a maximum run timer, while a delay-on-reverse circuit and an adjustable friction clutch help protect the system.

Designed for flexible installation, it offers universal mounting and supports doors up to 22 feet wide and 26 feet high (standard) with a maximum allowable area of 640 square feet. Built into a NEMA 1 electrical box with a heavy-duty 11-gauge steel frame and powder coat finish, it also supports myQ Technology for remote monitoring and control, and includes LiftMaster Security+ 2.0 radio capability.
