The LiftMaster GH (Logic 5.0) Gearhead Hoist Operator is a heavy-duty commercial door operator built for high-cycle environments. It is recommended for rolling steel doors and heavy, high- or standard-lift sectional overhead doors in demanding commercial applications, delivering an operator speed of 8-9 inches per second.

Engineered for reliability, this unit features a 45:1 first-stage heavy-duty gear reduction running in an oil bath within a cast iron housing, a #50 output sprocket chain, and sealed roller bearings in the gear reducer. The solid-state Logic 5.0 circuit board supports programmable features such as a timer-to-close, programmable mid-stop, maximum run timer, and a delay-on-reverse circuit. A standard brake, mechanical limit settings, and a floor-level emergency release sash chain with auto-reconnect round out its operational capabilities.

This operator includes a LiftMaster Security+2.0 radio receiver (backwards compatible to Security+ 315 or 390 MHz) and myQ Technology for remote monitoring and control via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Wall control is handled by a 3-Button Control Station with Maintenance Alert System (MAS). Note: this commercial door operator must feature constant pressure to close or be equipped with an external monitored entrapment protection device to meet UL 325 requirements.
