Optex 50 ft Hybrid Photoelectric Through Beam

The Optex OVS-50 TNR is a monitored hybrid photoelectric through-beam detector that uses Active Infrared (AIR) dual-beam technology for cost-effective, stable, and versatile detection. It is designed to provide reliable point-to-point coverage at ranges of up to 50 feet, making it well suited for gate, access-control, and driveway safety applications.

Because no wiring is required on the transmitter side, installation requires no concrete cutting and no driveway trenching, which reduces installation time and labor costs. The transmitter runs on D-size lithium batteries (Optex recommends the Saft LSH-20, two units total) for an approximate eight-year battery life. Batteries are easy to access, and the beams do not need to be realigned after replacement.

The OVS-50 TNR remains extremely stable in rain, snow, and fog, and includes optical alignment technology with a Sniper Viewfinder featuring x2 magnification and an easy-to-see LED for fast, accurate setup.
