Linear 1-channel Block Coded Visor Xmit

This Linear MegaCode series digital transmitter is a wireless radio control designed for use with MegaCode format receivers. As a single-channel, block-coded visor transmitter, it sends one code to operate a compatible MegaCode receiver, making it well suited for gate and garage-door access-control applications.

The MegaCode radio format supports more than a million different codes for a high level of security. Each transmitter is preset at the factory to one of over 1,000,000 codes, and the receiver learns the transmitter by storing its code in memory. Block-coded models are programmed at the factory to a user-defined block of ID codes for use with receivers that accept Block Coding. The receiver retains its memory even without power and activates only from memorized transmitters.

A red LED on the face of the unit lights when the button is pressed to confirm transmission. The transmitter is intended for portable wireless signaling at gates, garages, and similar access points where a reliable communications link is needed.
