I have a Liftmaster 3280 and my garage door opener either doesn't close all the way or goes too far and comes back up. No matter how many times I fine tune the down travel limit it will eventually go back to too short or too far. Liftmaster Support said to change the RPM sensor but I'm wondering if the limit switch or main board might be causing the issue. Please advise.

There are a number of different reasons this may be happening.  We always defer to Liftmaster technical support for diagnosis of the issue.  If following their advice does not work, you will need to contact a technician in your area for on-site assistance.
