Installs easy and works well!This replaced the "dumb" wired button that came with the opener. Prior to ordering I checked the compatibility, and found that it would work with my older unit, (based on the color of the antenna). The install was easy and the instructions were very helpful. For example, the new button has to charge for a few minutes before it will operate. This was not intuitive, but it didn't take more than 5 minutes. Why did I upgrade? Two reasons: The first is the timer on the new button will automatically close the door if left open. The auto close delay includes options of 1, 5 and 10 minutes (as I remember it). The second is the motion detector that turns on the light on the opener base. This has come in handy several times when navigating the garage in low light.
