Great Replacement!Initially replaced main opener control board which used a Series III wall control. Found out new board only works with Series II, and this unit functions perfectly with the new board. Very easy to install.

Genie Wall Control UnitThis is an excellent product and is far superior to the single function door button it replaced. I have a three car garage so installed two of these. The installation is very easy, two screws on the back for the opener wires and two mounting screws for the wall attachment. I like the three function set up, with a separate slide switch for door lock out, a push button for light only and the large lighted button for opener activation. The value is also outstanding as I paid about half the price the big box stores wanted for this unit.

Great ControlThis replacement wall control is so much better than the the original one which I had for twenty years, it has a bigger touch pad and brighter display that is easy see and use. The price was fair too.

Worked well as avertised.A recent bad storm killed the Genie SilentMax 1000 Garage Door Opener. Research for a replacement circuit board indicated that a new board would not operate from the existing Series III Wall Mount Control. This Series II Wall Mount Control was purchased to avoid that issue. The new opener circuit board and new wall mount control both are working correctly. Confirmed that the Series III old wall mount control did not work with the new replacement circuit board. All is well.

Replacement Wall unitPretty simple -- low priced, worked perfect, took 2 minutes to replace old unit. I like the huge oversized light up button. The unit we replaced seemed like a higher quality piece (it did last 14 years of daily use) but for the price of this unit I can replace it 3 times and still be money ahead. Very happy with purchase.

Exactly what I needed.My garage door opener circuit board went out due to a power surge. The new replacement board was not compatible with the Series III wall button. I ordered this Series II wall button. It works as described. Fair price and fast service. Will buy from them again if the need arises.

Fear NotOur house and all 3 Genie garage door openers are over 19 years old. I had a garage door repair company come out to replace the wall switches which were all showing the effects of ware and tare. Fortunately I have programed our vehicles to open and close the doors, but what a hassle having to get into your vehicle to open the garage door so you can pull out of the garage. I bought one, it worked well so I purchased the other two.
My fears were a waste of time. They all work just like new - which I guess they are...Posted on

Great ProductThis wall mount garage door opener is better than the original one I had. I don't know why I waited so long to replace this one that did not work very well. Better than original consoleThe "black button" console is a great improvement over the "white button" console that came with the GDO. The original one never worked very well and the micro-switch in it finally failed completely, necessitating buying this wall console replacement, which works perfectly every time. I also like the sliding lock switch over the push button and LED lock; very obvious when it's activated (the red LED being off for locked is rather abstract) and no accidental activations. Now if I could make the remote receiver work as reliably...

Good ReplacementAn excellent replacement for the original back-lit controllers. And although the spacing between the screw holes is the same, this controller tapers slightly and is wider at the top than the original rectangular controllers. So if you have two and they are side-by-side and snugged up, you'll need to re-mount one of them.

Quality console at a great price!I replaced my two original Genie garage door consoles with these 2nd generation consoles and I couldn't be happier! They were simple to install and so far have worked flawlessly as advertised. The best part is that now we can disable our garage doors completely with the vacation switch. We have had multiple break-ins through garage door entry in our neighborhood over the years so we now disable our openers every night now before we head off to bed. This is an amazingly inexpensive way to add security to your home. They are well made and were delivered promptly. Wish I had upgraded to these consoles years ago.

easy change out, unit works wellI would have given a better review on value and pricing had the price not dropped $3 a day after I received item. The product was a change out of original wall console so it was power off, screws removed, wires off original, wires on new console, mounting screws back in , power on . Job complete ! New console works fine.
