Part didn't fix it...Hard to really fill out this review due to the following since I couldn't use the part:
I have no complaints on receiving the product - fast and packed well but I didn't get to use it. It turns out it was the motor (maybe) gone bad and sadly the Genie manufacturer does NOT have another motor nor the parts to fix this one. Genie has changed things so much that I have to dismantle the complete unit and buy another one. Quite frustrating and an expense I hadn't counted on.Posted on

Perfect!Replaced the original start capacitor on my garage door opener. It was slightly shorter but still fit fine in the original bracket and had my garage door up and running in no time! FYI...also check your door track, mine was loose causing it to sag very slightly and making the screw drive bind a little.

Installation CompletedAlthough snow delayed the delivery date by 2 days, the item was received as promised. The previous capacitor had started leaking and needed to be replaced. Replacement took less than 10 minutes and now the garage door is fully functional again.

Fixing stuff is fun!Watched a YouTube video to diagnose our pooped out garage door opener. Bad capacitor fit the description. Ha ha! Excellent serviceI am just shooting in the dark that this will fix my problem. Not sure if it will because I haven't had time to install it yet, but this was one of three parts listed as culprits but this was the least expensive of the three. I highly recommend these guys for price, quality and service. I expected the part to be a few days out but 2 days after the order the part was in my mailbox.
