- Very happyOne of my cables was fraying, and the garage door company wanted $209 to replace them (though the other one is fine). I looked in YouTube and found a nice clear video that showed that this is not a hard job at all.<br /> <br /> After receiving these cables (and buying 2 vise-grips, which I can't believe I've never bought before), I spent maybe 30 minutes (or less) replacing the cable. It was exactly the same size as the old one, so there was no adjustment required. Just removed the old and installed the new (per the video), and it's working just like before! (Except I'm not afraid that the cable is going to pop!)
