Look and feel good - will see if they lastMy first experience with stainless steel extension cables. Galvanized cables from the big box stores last only a few years and start fraying in no time. It's not fun when they snap unexpectedly. I hope these cables last longer. Perfect length for my door height. Quick shipping.

Hopefully the right moveI am tired of replacing my over head garage door cables. The standard galvanized cables fail approx. once or twice a year. I was happy to find, on line, stainless steel cables of the correct length. The next time the old galvanized cables show fraying, I will replace them with my newly purchased stainless steel cables. PS: Even with shipping, these were less expensive than what I have been purchasing at Menards.
