Garage Door Low Headroom Quick Turn Brackets (Pair) w/ Rollers
If you need a few extra inches of clearance, these quick turn brackets are what you need! You simply replace your standard top brackets with these brackets. The hinge portion of the bracket mounts to the door. Then you place the two rollers in the track. This well help the door turn in the radius of the track quicker gaining you extra clearance. You can also gain a few more inches of clearance by using these and by cutting a few inches off your vertical tracks.
Works on both wood and steel residential doors. Brackets will give you 2″- 4″ more space above the open garage door. They also allow vertical tracks to be cut down up to 2 inches allowing more room above springs for operator installation in extreme low headroom situations.
- Brackets measure 18" x 2 1/2".
- Includes two brackets and (4) 2" 11-Ball Bearing white nylon rollers.

Did the trick! These were exactly what a needed I had almost zero clearance with my garage door and could not have installed an opener without them. I did have to install them so the hinges opened in the reverse angle, but once installed they gave me plenty of headroom and the installation of the opener was a breeze! Thanks for this product!

worked greati was able to open the garage door on a house i was remodeling. before, the garage door would hit the trusses and not open. this was the quickest and cheapest solution, zip the old standard brackets off the top panel, install these and you're done, now the garage door opens like it should. shipping was really quick, quicker than expected.

Appropriate for my needThe device worked well for my application. I thought that some guidance or suggestions as to applying the device. Since there are four roller locations; let's call them A, B, C & D. As a result rollers could be installed as AB or AC or AD or BC or BD or CD. Some sets provide the lowest top door edge while others provide different clearances. I used what I call BD and it worked for my application.
The second comment is that the shorter end of the assembly mounts on the top door. I purchased a "premium" insulated single 8' x 7' door from a major manufactured through a big box store. The struts where the normal roller/hinges are mounted are adequate but not robust. Installing this assembly onto the existing struts provides higher levels of stress on the mounting screws. I have decided to reinforce the strut (strap steel) and add additional fasteners to secure the assembly. I would suggest the shorter section of the assembly be lengthened with more locations for securing given the increased stress.Posted on

Customer asks
Do they work with traditional radius or do I need to buy additional rails to place above the original rails?
-
Yes they spill work perfectly with the traditional rails....all this bracket does is turn the top panel sooner so it won't hit the ceiling...it's a great all around product I was very satisfied
-
The normal rails is all you need. You just replace original top roller of your door with these brackets, and that's it... Works perfect. It's only a 5-10 min job, nothing too it.
-
Yes they worked great on my original rails. I needed one inch on an eight foot door and they gained me almost 2 and a half.
-
they work with traditional radius... you do not need additional track... they replace your existing top fixtures
-
I already put in a top rail before I bought them but worked great that way

customer asks
I have a 15" radius curve - I'm skeptical these will be long enough to reach if they are mounted on the top part of the door?
-
The reach has nothing to do with the hinge. I had about an 12" of swing room and they worked for me.
-
I believe they will work for you. I have mine mounted at the top too. I will admit there was some trial and error but it worked out. Good thing is if you do need to re adjust the placement, the screws will work in other holes just fine and doesn’t leave the door looking mutilated. I would suggest using a battery operated socket wrench, your arms will thank you later.

Customer asks
What gives the most extra clearance, these or the super sneaky?
-
I really don’t know as i don’t have the super sneaky, but what I do know is that these got me out of a jam as I only had about two inches off clearance.and would not let my new garage door open at all but after installing these the garage door open without any problem as it pulls the door away from the wall when it opens as opposed to lifting it straight up. Real life saver.

Customer asks
Is it possible/ structurally sound to put the top horizontal strut below where these brackets attach to the door? Or does strut need to go above of this?
-
No, the struts have to be placed below.
