The garage door mechanic refused to install this "Garage Door L-Handle Lock with Inside Slide Lock Latch Mechanism Set", said it was overkill, instead he put a slide lock on the inside of the door.

The lock seems great and works well. This was on a new door without holes, so installing it was difficult with drilling and trying to figure out the hole placement. A template would have been very helpful, especially for the handle mechanism. Also, longer bolts for the handle would have been really helpful, as the longest bolts that came with the handle were just barely long enough to reach through the door. I was able to do it, but another quarter inch in bolt length would have been even better.

Arrive in time easy to install. Now our shed is secure again.

Ordered this for our Wayne Dalton door. Easy installation & works perfectly. We can now secure our items in our shed. Would order again from this company.

The lock is great but since I was putting this in a new door without a lock in it, some instructions concerning hole sizes to drill would have been very helpful. I figured it out but remember not everyone is just swapping out an old lock.
