Purchased flag brackets, bearing plates, drums, cables, center support, and center bearing to convert extension spring to torsion. Neighbor was changing out to a new 16' door a few weeks ago. It had two springs. I cut torsion bar in half. And used his hardware with one spring for one of 8' doors. I wanted to use the other spring and other half of the torsion bar to convert my second 8" door. Local Austin distributor wanted $185 for the parts not installed. Preferred Doors had delivered to my door in 2 days for less than a 1/3 the cost. Thank you Joey and Preferred Door!
