Returns & Refunds

We make every attempt to assure all customers are satisfied. Please always double check for the correct make and model on your garage door and opener prior to ordering and be sure to select the right part for your garage door or opener. If you are not sure which part to select for your model, please Contact Us via email with your question. We will try and help you to ensure that you are getting the correct part you need.  

All items have a 30-day money back guarantee unless otherwise noted.  If you wish to return an item for refund or exchange it must be done within the 30 days of the purchase date. 

We try very hard to accommodate your mistakes as well as ours. Here is an overview of our returns policy. Keep in mind that we do try very hard to satisfy each & every customer. After the 30 days of purchase, check with the manufacturer on your item for warranty help. 

Wrong Parts Ordered: 

  • Please check for the correct make and model on your garage door opener prior to ordering and be sure to select the right part for your opener.  If you are not sure which part to select for your model, contact us and ask. We are not responsible for your selection of the wrong item.
  • We will exchange items ordered in error if we have the correct part
  • Contact us to inform us of the need for an exchange and obtain an RMA number
  • Ship the item back to us with all original materials (parts, packaging, instructions, batteries, etc.), enclose a copy of the original invoice, write the RMA number on your shipping label.
  • We suggest you use a shipper with tracking capabilities. Shipping cost for return of the item is at the purchasers' expense.
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable, and additional shipping charges to ship another item back to you will be required.
  • Items returned damaged or with parts missing will not be exchanged. 

Defective Parts: 

  • Parts that are defective will be exchanged within 30 days of your purchase date
  • Please contact us to inform us of the defective part & request an exchange
  • We will email a shipping label to you to send the defective part back to us, once we receive the defective part we will send you a replacement.
  • Ship the part back to us with all original materials (parts, packaging, instructions, batteries, etc)
  • If we send you an exchange for a defective part and it turns out the issue is a different problem not related you will be charged for our cost incurred for the extra shipping when you return the item for a refund. 

Returns for Refund: 

  • If you ordered the wrong part and we don't have the part you need or you just decide you don't want the part you ordered, you can return it for a refund within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • Items being returned for refund must be the items on the original order.
  • Items being returned for refund must be received by us in original salable condition, without damage and including all original parts and packing (including batteries, instructions, connectors, screws, wiring, staples, etc.)
  • Full refund, less shipping, handling & restock fee of 20%, will be made by the method you originally used to make your purchase.
  • For items with "free shipping" the amount of our shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
  • Shipping cost for return of the item is at the purchasers' expense.
  • We suggest you use a shipper with some form of tracking.
  • Items returned damaged or with parts missing will not be refunded. Also, parts marked as "exchange only" will not be refunded. No returns or exchanges are allowed on circuit boards, you may exchange if board is defective.
  • Special orders, control boards, torsion springs, extension springs, tools and closeout items are not refundable or exchanged. 
  • Unauthorized returns on non-returnable items will be charged 50% restock fee upon receipt.
  • If you do not to sign for a package that requires a signature and it is left unclaimed, the carrier will return it to us. We will issue a refund minus shipping and a 20% restock fee upon receipt of that item unless buyer contacts us and remits payment for re-shipping.
  • If we send you an exchange for a defective part and it turns out the issue is a different problem not related you will be charged for our cost incurred for the extra shipping when you return the item for a refund.
